Ahsan "Sonny" Achtchi, DO

Sonny Achtchi, DO, FACC is a Florida native who spent eight years training at Emory University where he earned the position of Chief Resident for his exceptional clinical and leadership skills. After residency, he went on to complete a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and an additional specialized Interventional Cardiology Fellowship with endovascular training. Since joining Ashchi Heart & Vascular Center, he has gained valuable experience that has earned him the respect of his colleagues who have come to recognize his skills as a top-notch endovascular interventionalist.

Dr. Achtchi is board certified in both Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and has a demonstrated a high level of skill in endovascular interventional procedures. He received Fellowship training using some of the most recent advances in endovascular medicine including rotablation, directional atherectomy, and drug-eluding stenting, all the while, gaining valuable experience successfully deploying these latest modalities with the patience, skill and precision required for successful outcomes.

In Dr. Achtchi’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercise and was once a musician, though now he mostly entertains his beautiful children.
