Bryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Florida. He began his career in healthcare by working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). After two years, he was promoted to the Rapid Response Team at Orange Park Medical Center, where he helped establish the hospital’s first Medical Emergency Team. Years later, his nursing career brought him to UF Health Jacksonville, where he worked in the Cardiac ICU and on the Code Blue Team. In addition to his many years of clinical experience, Bryan earned his Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati and obtained his Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Bryan was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of 7. He has lived in Northeast Florida ever since his family migrated from the Philippines. To this day, he maintain fluency in the Tagalog language. He is married to his beautiful bride, Francine, with whom he met in nursing school many moons ago and were the founding members of the Back Row Buffet. The college sweethearts were married in 2015 and in June 2018, Bryan and Francine were blessed with the addition of their first born son, Lucas Jackson (LJ). LJ has stolen his parents’ hearts and has brought much happiness and excitement into the family.
In his spare time, Bryan loves to spend quality time with his family and friends. Bryan’s hobbies include traveling the world for free via travel hacking, playing tennis, photography, couponing, and watching sports.
