Carrie Santos is a Dual Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. While residing in Tampa Florida she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing at The University of Tampa, and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Carrie began her nursing career in the field of Cancer and Oncology. She worked as a registered nurse in the medical-surgical, hematology, BMT, and clinical research units at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. During her tenure as a registered nurse, she became passionate about chronic disease health promotion, prevention, and patient education. She believes in empowering the patient through knowledge and education. Her vision and hope is to provide quality education and resources to live a healthy lifestyle, all the while managing chronic disease.
Outside of her passion to serve others, Carrie’s commitment as a loving wife and mother plays an uplifting role in her success personally and professionally. Whether it’s watching a good movie at home, family trip to Chuck E. Cheese, or just looking for new ways to serve those less fortunate; the joy of life can be simply found in the smiles and laughter of her family.
