Jack Mounce, EMTP, MSN, FNP-C
Jack is originally from Cherokee Nation Oklahoma, and joined the Air Force right out of high school (2002) serving two years overseas during OIF/OEF till moving to Jacksonville in 2006. He began his career in healthcare by working as a Paramedic/Fighter for Jacksonville Fire Rescue Dept. (JFRD), then bridged to receive his Registered Nurse (RN). Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Jacksonville University and continued his education while working two full time jobs as a FF/EMTP for JFRD and RN for Borland Groover and Riverside Surgical Center in the OR and PACU.
In addition to his ten plus years of prehospital Trauma and clinical experience, Jack has earned his Master of Science in Nursing degree from the South University of Savannah and obtained his Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He completed his internship with St. Vincent’s Health Care system and maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
He is married to his beautiful wife Racquel, and has two daughters’ ages 11 years and 10 months. In his spare time, Jack loves to spend quality time with his family, and hobbies include fitness and traveling.
