Anh Thi Nguyen

A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Anh Thi Nguyen began her nursing career in 2014 after earning her Bachelors Degree from the University of North Florida. As a registered nurse, Anh Thi spent several years working in the oncology and cardiac units at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. At Baptist, she was responsible for providing leadership and recommendations to improve patient care, safety standards, and nurse training as chair of her Unit Council. She was also nominated by her patients for providing exceptional care.

Following her time at Baptist Medical Center, Anh Thi spent three years working in cardiovascular intensive care units at the Medical Center of South Arkansas (El Dorado, AR) and Medical City Dallas (Dallas, Texas). At Medical City Dallas, she was on the infection control team and responsible for training new nurses in the Unit.

Anh Thi graduated with honors as a Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, GA in September of 2018. Shortly after receiving her degree and national certification, she filled in as the sole provider at an independent family practice when the founding provider was on leave.

Since that assignment was complete, Anh Thi has moved back to Jacksonville, FL. She is excited to permanently return to her passion for cardiology and put down roots in the River City. Anh Thi enjoys swing dancing, paddle boarding, and trying new restaurants.

Thi has been an active advocate in the nursing profession as a member of the American Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
