A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Eric Albert began his nursing career in 2014 after earning his Degree from the Cochran School of Nursing in Yonkers, New York. Prior to nursing he was a critical care paramedic working as a flight medic and on the ambulance servicing NYC and surrounding areas. As a registered nurse, Eric spent several years working in the emergency department at New York Presbyterian. Him and his wife moved their family to St Augustine because of their love for the outdoors, the beach, and southern food. They have three children and two dogs.

He became the ER Nurse Manager at Baptist Medical Center South in 2018 after relocating to Florida. Eric led a team of nurses and doctors to revise Baptist South’s chest pain and sepsis protocols to improve early recognition of unstable patients, develop newer evidence-based treatment modalities, and improve patient outcomes. He was recognized for his accomplishments with a Magnet award. Eric has spent most of his career training paramedics and emergency room nurses sharing his knowledge and passion for cardiology. He graduated with honors with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of St Augustine in 2020 and soon after becoming a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. He trained with a cardiologist in St Augustine during his clinical rotations for school knowing that he wanted to specialize in cardiology. He is a Certified Emergency Nurse, member of the Emergency Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

He enjoys cooking with a love for BBQ, exercising, traveling and most of all spending time with friends and family.
